The Multi-Wing
Performance Optimiser software has been developed by
Multi-Wing to enable customers to select the optimum
impeller solution for each of their specific air moving
applications. It can be used as both, a quick reference
guide or an advanced tool in new product development.
Performance
Optimiser software uses customer application
requirements, airflow, pressure and power consumption,
to select the Multi-Wing impeller that will best meet
the required performance. The Performance Optimiser also
provides the user with useful mechanical information,
including moment of inertia, and axial force for all
Multi-Wing impellers.
All the performance data used by the software is
produced in Multi-Wing’s own wind tunnel in accordance
with the AMCA A/ISO 5801 standard. The sound and
mechanical information provided is based on generally
accepted and test proven mathematical models.
In many cases an application uses the inlet geometry or
tip clearance which is different from test conditions.
For this reason, Performance Optimiser has a facility
for the user to simulate larger tip clearances and other
inlet conditions.
To provide maximum versatility, the user can select
whether the programme output is a hard copy via a
printer, saved as a file on a PC or an automatically
produced attachment to an email.
