Closing the gap for better performance

Multi-Wing introduces ƐPS™ Fan Blade Extensions. Bristles on the end of each blade, ƐPS closes the gap between the shroud and the fan tip. This fan blade extension minimizes turbulence in the blade, improves fan performance and reduces noise.

“ƐPS increases efficiency by up to eight percentage points and pressure by up to 25 percent,” says Jim Crowley, president of Multi-Wing America. “ƐPS Fan Blade Extensions are strength tested for maximum durability in tough off-road applications. Also, suitable for use in HVAC, these blade extensions are third-party tested for chemical resistance.”

Compatible with all Multi-Wing fans, ƐPS is ideal for operating temperatures up to 280°F (120°C). Static strength tested for durability in the toughest environments, ƐPS can withstand loads of more than 1016 N/in. (40 N/mm)—performing at maximum operating speed for PAG fans. Fatigue testing proves that performance and noise remain unchanged even after 400,000 impacts.
